THE LANGUAGE OF MODEL HORSES

The world of model horses has a language all its own.  Here is a small dictionary to help you with modelhorsespeak.

GLOSSARY

Artist Resin - the name given to models created and sculpted by a hobby artist.  These are generally produced in very small numbers, sold by the sculpting artist in an UP/UP state (unprepped/unpainted).  The buyer of an artist resin will then commission a hobby artist to paint the resin to their specifications, unless they are purchasing an artist resin which has already been painted.  Sometimes the sculpting artist will only produce and paint the resin as 'aftist choice' - this means they choose the colour /s of the resin and purchasers do not have the option of  commissioning their own colour preference.
