OUR VISION
West Coast Live Model Horses is a group of people with a common interest whose aim is to promote and share the model horse hobby. WCLMH's aim is to promote all facets of the hobby and to provide support for the continuing development of model horse collecting, showing and artists involved in the hobby, which includes but is not limited to:
Promoting the model horse hobby to the public to develop interest, support, and recognition.
Building national communication about the model horse hobby.
Distributing information to hobby enthusiasts.
Offering new goals to model horse exhibitors by sponsoring a West Coast Nationals (WCN) model horse show, End Of Year High Point Awards and a Merit Awards Scheme.
The long term direction of WCLMH is to be an inclusive, educational, promotional member of the model horse community.
WHAT WE DO
West Coast Live Model Horses held the very first live show in Western Australia in 2007.

Since then, whilst the shows have grown and progressed the basic format has stayed the same. West Coast Live Model Horses offer 4 live shows per year with divisions for Novice enthusiasts just starting out, to specialised classes for the more experienced.
​
The Halter show divisions cater to all collectors and include OF, CM, AR, Workmanship, Mini OF, CM, AR & Workmanship, Novice Divisions and WCLMH also has an extensive Performance class list.
WCLMH offers prizes and awards at live shows which includes class placings, satin ribbons and satin rosettes.

WCLMH offers points throughout the year which go towards End Of Year High Point Awards.
​
WCLMH also offers a Merit Awards Scheme which is a continuous point earning scheme (not yearly) where enthusiasts can work towards various awards for their models.
​
WCLMH has a friendly Facebook group, where information of all things equine (real and model) is extended to members and everyone is welcome and encouraged to ask questions and learn about breeds, colors, performance, etc.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are a group of model horse enthusiasts who come from all walks of life and across all age groups.
​
Although we all have different occupations and other interests, our one common interest is model horses. We enjoy getting together throughout the year to share out model collections and take part in friendly competition as well as having the opportunity to catch up and socialise.
In between shows we stay in touch via Facebook and the West Coast Live Model Horses group page and we also organise non-model social get togethers too.
The members of West Coast Live Model Horses invite you to get involved in the fun hobby of model horse collecting, come and be part of our shows and get to meet a group of friendly welcoming friends.
